Elder counts and I have had a pretty great week. Enjoying the sunset yesterday as well as helping a guy change his tire (pictured below). Which was quite an experience trying to figure out how to get a spare wheel out from underneath the bottom of a truck XD. It took us almost 30 minutes! I really have had such an awesome time serving on a mission the people are so nice and the place is so great!
On Tuesday we had exchanges, so Elder Counts (my companion) went to another area and Elder Cockburn (pictured below came to my area. We had a lot of fun. As you can see in the picture he is quite the character. Really bold, though, when it comes to talking to people on the street. He will go TO ANYONE! even if they are getting in to their car XD.
Its coming down to the last 3 weeks of this transfer I have almost been here 12 WEEKS!
The longer I am out here the more I love this gospel!
Teaching people is such a blessing and an opportunity to serve for 2 years doing service and changing so many lives!
Update on investigators:
Bro L our Korean investigator has shown a great desire to continue to meet with us and learn English. Also, we have continued to read the pamphlet with him explaining the restoration of the gospel. The greatest part is having him say the prayer and at the end he expresses such love for the lord and when he is unable so say it in English he switches to Korean thanking the lord for missionaries and the church.
Bro R (our 85 year old investigator) is progressing still, just slowly. We have begun to read from the beginning of the book of Mormon to help him gain a testimony of it to know for himself.
So the pictures below are of the sunset in Long Beach :) Elder Cockburn (co-burn) holding a broken bike pedal.
And the BEST 2 A dairy with my Name on it ( or at least what the way everyone thinks my name is pronounced ) and All the cars that you see in California with the license plat that makes the picture even better! i feel like Toyota Prius's are the only cars I ever see out here!
AND AS ALWAYS STAY FROSTY!
