Well Hello everyone again and welcome to the weekly news report! As of now I am located in the Los Alamitos area. A lot has happened this week. Our progressing investigators continue to come to church. ITS ALSO 2014 now :P A new year and a new vision of "See What We Can Discover/Do". THE MOST AMAZING PART OF ALL IS THAT BROTHER R, our 85 year old 40 year investigator chose a date to pray about being baptized and we told him choose these 4 Saturdays in January. So, of course he chose February 1st XD. we have had him pray about it as well, and he said he felt better about it. Still not " I will do that day" its "if im ready by then I will". Though scary enough, we actually had him say "I will" to a commitment we gave him to not drink more then 2 cups today of coffee. Normally its i will try my best/working on it. SO YAY!
Bro C, our progressing investigator who we joking say has given more baptism invitations then us (he invited his sun to be baptized before we could :3). We found out that he may have to wait a year to be baptized because of complications. So, he was a little shocked because of that, but he said he will do what it takes.
The ward is is so great as well. All the ward missionaries and mission leader have such a desire to get the ward more involved. Elder Counts and I have been working on a plan to get more members at our lessons so now we have been able to come up with 2 Tuesdays a month the Elders/High Priest groups each choose one person for that day for us to be able to go on splits. And every Friday Elder Counts and I Choose 2 people we want to go on splits with! If this wont get us talking to more members and getting more lessons I don't know what will!
Well that's all for this week's report. Now to the pictures sent in by viewers(me) :P
so the first is an old phone that Bro Roberts has in his house :D
and the second is all the candy we got from one of our investigators gave us on Friday :D i love white Chocolate pretzels.
Remember: Always TRY YOUR BEST "Discover what you can do!"
