THEN I GOT TO GO IN THE OCEAN..... well technically I did the wet lands, according to the person giving us a mini tour of them said it was the ocean and it was part of the San Bernadine river as seen below. So anyways we were there giving service us (the missionaries in our stake about 40) and others in the community came and helped out to remove non native plants - the Pickle weed is one that is native to the place but Ice plant seen in the pictures is not but grows like crazy!. AND it was really fun because we were the first group of people to ever work on this land since it was purchased as preserved land. Also a large purpose was for the saving of the Bird on the sign pictured below because they are endangered. This is one of the places they live.
THEN WE had a Crazy moment where Elder Barney and I had not planned to go to someone's house Saturday night but the Lord guided us to Kimberly. She was a potential that had been written down on our papers from 3 years AGO! Elder barney and I had taken the sheet out and more or less just placed it in the apartment then I picked it up during a time we were at the apartment and placed it next to Elder Barney and he just so happened to Look at it and felt impressed to go and write down the name of Kimberly!. In the end what happened should never have because of the mistakes we both made with the contact and talking to her she still felt the spirit and knows that the Lord is there for her!
THIS WEEK I WOULD CHALLENGE YOU TO TAKE THE CHANCE TO PRAY to recognize opportunities to serve someone and the lord will bless you with this opportunity!
KEEP in touch and AS ALWAYS STAY FROSTY!
