So we had such a great week. A lot of this week was getting to know the members as well as seeing the blessing of serving the people here. Many of the people we are teaching have been on and off this last Transfer (6 week period). Tomorrow we will have transfers, but IM STAYING :D with Elder Barney. Thought Sister Leavitt is leaving. :( her and sister Turner just got here this transfer and Sister Leavitt is already leaving. Though the next Sister. Sister Saunders will be great. Time to put this next transfer into overdrive!
Elder Snodgrass is leaving and Elder Pollard is staying.
Oh and I felt my first Earth Quake (that I didn't sleep through) Then there was another at 9:30 and through out the next day we heard that there have been over 100 aftershocks :P
Well this week will be shorter but Continue to do all that you can in the world to make it better :D
This week has been such an awesome week! This last transfer with Elder barney has gone by so quickly! Though our numbers have been low we have been having success a lot this week. A lot of it started on Thursday we had a member planned to go out with us to Bro S., Brother C.. Then Bro C. had an a "crazy" idea to blitz where we teach as many families as we can in a night 5 min lessons. We ended up visiting like 7 member families that night and give a blessing to Bro M.(which was not planned). Then on On Friday our schedule was full of things. we had a dinner appointment and on our way there we found that we had an appointment change to 6:30, so we were able to bring CH Jr with us. He is so awesome the perfect member to bring. Saturday just went awesome the whole day was filled. We helped out at a baptism and the non member we gave a blessing to last week. Her member brother who lives in Utah expressed such thanks for us doing that. I was kind of surprised. It Goes to show how small acts of kindness are such great blessing to others
All in all this last week has just been great getting to know members better inviting almost all our investigators and less active to different events this week. Like the mIssionary departure fireside, women's conference and church.
Elder barney and I were able to get in contact with our Chinese investigator as well this week and talk to him and understand where he is at. It's so hard because he said while we were talking "yea then i was unhappy (when he met us) but now I'm miserable.(now that he has gone to church and not coming anymore)" its so hard to see this. But all we can do is just help remind him that god is there still for him.
I really hope to work on our teaching of lessons learning to make outlines a lot this next transfer as well really putting things into gear.
And as always "STAY FROSTY"
