WELL IM STILL HERE! AND ITS SPRING (HERE AT LEAST IT FEELS LIKE IT XP) ! As you can see in the pictures I finally got to see the BEACH!!!!!! I was able to to do this because I went on exchanges to the Atherton area (AKA seal beach/south long beach). IT is so beautiful to see it with the sun setting as well as mid-day! <------oh and Elder Snodgrass (the elder I was on exchanges with) wants to say its only because of him that it happened.
Elder Barney and I are still doing well but finding investigators is still slow coming. Many of our lessons have canceled and were changed to the next day but we finally had the best thing happen though this week....!!!!! One of of our younger investigators that is newly married has not been really wanting to come to church without her husband. BUT because of a Stake Women's conference she went for the full 4 hour slot on Saturday! (and loved it)
The weather here has become warm the last week and sunny yay!
I am loving the mission so much and really have conitnued to learn so much!
IT is so true that when you are serving the Lord great blessings come that will help both you and all those you come into contact with.
AND AS ALWAYS
"STAY FROSTY!" Keep that GREENY FIRE BURNING!
(greeny fire is what they call the enthusiasm that new missionaries have to go out and work diligently)
Love
Elder Van Kammen
ps. We were able to teach the Chinese speaking family again :) good thing for Ipads and google translate XD
