This last week has been a blast! WE GOT TO RIDE BIKES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THIS AREA! (and for the first time in about 6 months) I am 2 weeks in to the new transfer... the start of the 3rd today. Time goes by so quickly on a mission and in life in general.
I really learned how Heavenly Father will truly bless us and give us what we truly desire as long as it is a righteous desire. There are many things in life that we will ask for, but we truly do not desire at that time. As God's children we need to ask Heavenly Father for help to change our desires. For example we can ask to have help to have a desire to have a desire. As we gain the desire then we can ask for help to have a desire to be more obedient. Heavenly Father can bless you with the ability to serve others and help those around us.
We had one experience this week that was really cool! The day we used our bikes we decided to go by a former investigator we had tried by before but she had not been home. When we knocked on the door she answered and was on the phone with someone. Seeing us at the door she looked super amazed! She exclaimed to the person on the phone "You won't believe who just showed up to my door, 2 Mormon boys!" Excited to see us she said one moment while she finished up the call. We found out that she had prayed 2 days earlier for Heavenly Father to "please send 2 Mormon boys." She shared with us that she could use our help to help her build/ put together some furniture for her father who just recently moved into a new HOME! I know this was a blessing and so cool to see how we are directed even when we do not think that we are! As long as we seek to do our best and ask for righteous things, we know God will allow us to bless other peoples lives!
LOVE YOU ALL. KEEP IN TOUCH!
