Week 22: Find your true self and help others.

This week has been another great week filled with random happenings and ward events.

I HAD SO MUCH PIZZA THIS WEEK! I had it 3 days this week for dinner at members homes! One of the times was at Po C.'s - our previous golden investigator. This was a big deal though... For the last 2 months he has been up and down falling back into his old ways after loosing his job, then on Monday night things were different he was calm and not nervous. Then of all things before we left, we we said "can we have a prayer before we leave?".  Normally we have just been saying it because he has not been in the zone or mind set( Bro C. keeps saying) but then he goes " I will say it,  I'm ready this time" What!!. This was so awesome to hear and he was the one that offered to say it without us asking him! Then to add on top of this, he and his stepson went together on a camp out with the scouts in our ward! It is really true. Never give up on someone or something.  You may need to leave them be for a time but not lose hope that things will change.  Do all that you can to help them along and for each person (or situation) see what is required/they need.
Something really stuck out to me that relates to this. Each of us have a greater potential then we truly know!  As I have mentioned in the past "we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience". Notice Spiritual was first. So know that before our time here we were someone, but we are on this earth to gain experience and understanding. So know that all the trials you have in front of you or you may feel that you "cannot seem to do" that you have an eternal potential! So this week find your "TRUE SELF" ! Look at the strengths and weakness's you have.  Look at your weakness's and see what the potential you have and find what you can do to strengthen them.
Also, this week a phrase I really liked that a member mentioned is "Remember that you cannot help others if you forget yourself and take yourself out of the picture"
SO THIS WEEK LOOK TO FIND YOUR TRUE SELF AND WHO YOU REALLY ARE AND WHAT YOU Can do to help them once you do!
