As the title suggests this week has been great, but smooth and bumpy XD (another one of my many phrases that make absolutely no sense.........right?) We had most plans fall through the last 2 weeks. I Thought the funniest part is that even though the plans fell through, it felt like there was a whole other purpose each night that did work out. One of the largest things was on Wednesday when we we had no lessons that night. Elder Barney and I from 7:30 till almost 9 walked around our area contacting people as we go. Though as we went, it felt like we were being guided to the direction we should go and which ways we should not. It was not till 8:55 that we really talked to someone. At that time we ended up having perfect timing being guided to a man named Scott who recently has been struggling. By the time we finished talking to him it was 9:25 (if you hold down shift type in this time it makes a smiley face XP)
This week has been such a great time to enjoy the mission. I do not have as much time to tell how the week went but I really can say that when we trust in the lord that Yellow Brick Road that needs some tuning up is how Heavenly Father is able to lead us to those who need the Gospel. Heavenly father is able to work with our imperfections, we are all different and called to these places for a reason! The pictures are of the end of this week when its rained for 3 days out here, so we had fun biking in the rain. Then an amazing picture of the moon :) at night (<-----well Duh :) ) Then my companion had some fun with me and set up a kid fold up chair in my closet :D!
Well, as always "Stay frosty!"
and as they say in archery you never know till you knock it as in putting the arrow in the bow and shooting it! or in missionary terms knocking the door hehehehe
Love

ps.
The week really turned out to be very good looking back but at the time many plans that we had fell through. Well at the same time there was a purpose to each of the nights that we had lessons not work. One of them we went out with a member but the lessons planned canceled. The member had a thought to go to a less active and say hi. In the end it was a perfect time to go by and help the less active set a goal to start coming to church as well as recognizing that he need to start putting things into gear. (he ended coming on Sunday!)
Also, we have been able to go by the a family in the ward twice this week. The man had a stroke about 6 months ago and at the time paralyzed on the left side making it very difficult for his wife to get out. Tuesday we were able to and talk with him sharing and talking with him about the gospel. Allowing for his wife to go out and do errands and go to her piano lesson. Each time I have gone, which is almost weekly, since I came on a mission has been amazing to see the difference in this man and how spiritual he is as well as going from not being able to stand to now he has the ability to stand for short periods of time. Many times, instead of us sharing a message, he is the one sharing it with us and helping us realize so many different principles.
